Shellac is used for restoration, polishing and varnishing of wooden objects and icons. The shellac flakes of the Bulgarian company "ArtS" is a natural product of thin pieces of natural resin, designed for mixing with pure (anhydrous) alcohol and creating various varnishes for artistic purposes. The shellac flakes can be used both for making a final varnish (for a highly concentrated solution of 300 g of shellac in 1 liter of pure alcohol) and for polishing or intermediate varnish (for a solution of 100 g of shellac in 1 liter of alcohol). The shellac flakes of "ArtS" are available in packages of 100 g, which should be stored in a cool and dry place.
