The white air-drying clay of the German manufacturer Knorr Prandel hardens in air without requiring firing (often called air clay).It is made from ground paper pulp to which a desiccant has been added.It is popular for modeling, sculpture, jewelry making, baby hand or foot print, toys and dolls. How to work with self-drying clay: Cut the required amount of clay and model with wet hands. The finished product is left to dry in a ventilated place, usually 1 cm thick dries in 24 hours. The residue can be stored in a cool place without access to air. Suitable for adults and children over 3 years. The finished products are waterproof only after protection with a final polyurethane varnish.
