Styrofoam balls can be painted with acrylic paints, and the possibilities for decoration are numerous: colored pins, beads, sequins, fabric and felt, ribbons, decoupage technique or embossing by melting with a hot silicone gun. Balls of different sizes can be useful for making a snowman, a model of the solar system or Christmas decorations. Popular for activities with children on cloudy days, birthday parties and Christmas workshops. The large sizes are suitable for making wood and a bouquet of candies.Small balls of polystyrene (polystyrene) are of great help as a basis for modeling with plasticine, clay and plaster. The form can be made of balls and wooden sticks, covered with a fine metal mesh, on which to work with plastic materials. They are often used as a base for needle punching with felt.
