Goldening

Metal flakes to achieve a metal or marble-like pattern on any surface; an exciting range of colors to choose from. The surface should be protected by solvent-based varnish.

• apply leaf adhesive and allow to dry for 15 - 20 minutes until it is completely transparent. Apply metal leaf and go over it gently with a soft brush. Finishing varnish for protection against tarnishing and filth.

A gilding product, especially recommended for the restoration of antiques, its tones are truly metallic thanks to the fact that it is made of metallic bronze or aluminum, it can be used on wood, ceramics, cardboard and many plastics, in a 20 ml container.

The shellac from the "Idea Oro" series of the Italian company "Maimeri" is a ready-to-use quick-drying solution of 25% shellac in 1 liter of alcohol. The precisely measured ratio of the products in the varnish allows for easy application, without too watery consistency, as well as for providing perfect protection of the work. Apart from being a varnish for creating a thin protective layer with a shiny effect, the dissolved shellac is also suitable for insulating surfaces before applying oil or polymer mixes, and for velatures (polishing) of wooden objects and acrylic paints.
